Members of the Locomotive Club have run all Tamarack Health WhistleStop races!!!!
Chugging along for 27 years!!
Locomotive Club Members are those that have participated in ALL WhistleStops. Full/Half Marathon and/or 5K/10K.
Thank you for being a part of WhistleStop since its inception. Your dedication over the years has helped make this event what it is today. From the very beginning, the
Locomotive Club was established to recognize those who have faithfully completed the full or half-marathon every year. We are deeply grateful for the commitment and perseverance this represents.
As time has passed, some of our cherished participants have chosen to continue their WhistleStop tradition at shorter distances, such as the 10K. To honor this ongoing dedication, we are pleased to introduce the Caboose Club – a way to recognize and
celebrate those who remain a valued and enduring part of the WhistleStop family, even as their race journey evolves.
Our Locomotive & Caboose Club members have proudly run the Tamarack Health WhistleStop every single year since it began. This elite group has participated in all
WhistleStops—whether the Full, Half-Marathon, 5K, or 10K.
2025 marked our 27th anniversary, and out of more than 44,738 participants over the past 27 years, only 16 runners have joined us every year. These loyal friends have celebrated our successes, supported us through challenges, and kept the WhistleStop spirit alive.
To recognize them, Locomotive & Caboose Club members will display a special insignia on their race bibs so everyone can cheer them on. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and invite the community to help us celebrate with a group photo at the Bay Area Civic Center on Friday, October 9th at 7:00 pm.
Thank you to our Locomotive Club members for keeping the tradition alive – we look forward to seeing you at the “Locomotive” Aid Station and out on the course!
